About Me

I am Carrie, first a wife and mother, then a photogrpher. I have been taught by some of the best photogs in Utah and I have tried hard to really understand the fundamentals of photography, of my camera, and most importantly "light". I have always been interested in art but cannot wield a paintbrush or a pencil to save my life...I leave that to my siblings (www.peekabooprints.etsy.com). But I wanted to create and I love working with people, especially children and teens. I picked up my first DSRL 7 years ago and started practicing and taking classes. For a long time I refused to take other people's pictures...I wasn't ready. About 4 years ago I finally felt like I could do this and not botch someones shoot completely and I have loved every minute of this journey. I try to treat my clients the way I want to be treated when I have my pictures done.
